I believe that every child is gifted and exceptional and deserves to feel confident and happy at school. I am passionate about being a part of children findng those gifts, skills, talents, abilities and confidence. My approach is using varied, proven, and engaging activities that allow your child to experience success and explore strategies that are meaningful and useful, creating a unique and individualized program with your child, changing and growing as we work together. I believe in clear focus but also in having lots of fun with children; knowing that learning erupts within movement and the creative process. Learning is experiential. I believe in the great potentials of life, the beauty of creating, and the giftedness in each child and person I meet. Each of us is filled with and surrounded by infinite possbilities. Hobbies

My hobbies include reading, writing, piano, photography, hiking and biking. I am currently writing a book on imaginative and creative alternatives and additions to an educational system that does not work for many of our children. Every 6-8 weeks, I facilitate 3 day workshops for adults focusing on understanding and experiencing concepts including honoring yourself, creating personal balance and creating personal integration. First sessions are free to determine that we are a good fit with one another.
