Maria D.
Private tutor in West Palm Beach, FL
Education
Journalist Bachelor's Degree at Universidad Catolica Celio Acosta Maracaibo/Venezuela
Experience
I was born and raised in Venezuela. So my native language it's Spanish. I got my Bachelor's degree as a Journalist back in Venezuela, so I know the correct use of the Spanish grammar. Having worked in a language institute before (which some time included translations from English to Spanish), for more than 2 years, I am quite aware of the basic principles to deliver great tutoring service. Part of my experience in the field required me to work cohesively and effectively with the native English speaker teacher helping them with their Spanish lessons to be ale to communicate with their Spanish students. For each tutoring session, I have developed a packet of questions that students work through during the session. I will try to encourage you to work as much as possible on your own and we will review the results together. I will also guide you in understanding how each lesson fits into your necessities.
