I have a master's degree in biological sciences, and I'm extremely enthusiastic about chemistry, biology, physics, and math. As a graduate student, I taught in the lab and tutored undergraduate as well. Many students have reached out to me to let me know how much success they've had for my tutelage. I enjoy thinking of new ways to explain concepts so that students understand them. When I work with a student, I like to identify any gaps in knowledge first before providing new information. A lot of times students struggle because there was one particular concept the never learned properly. I was a philosophy major as an undergraduate, so I can also help students with writing skills and English. This includes essay writing and writing assessments on standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. When it comes to test taking, I can help students develop strategies in critical thinking skills to improve their scores. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in algebra, physics, biology, chemistry, essays, writing, and test preparation. When I have free time, I like to scuba dive, snorkel, sail, and hike. I also really enjoy cleaning.
